It takes strong character to be the punchline of your own joke. The story and emotions are clear. Shots 1/2 & 3/4 are repetitive. They do not deliver any new information. Starting with shot 5 the essay picks up and becomes more engaging. Slow start. Nice finish.

You should follow this up in 2-4 weeks, or however long it takes, for some closure to your anticipation that I felt looking at these.
