Abraham Lincoln & Kurt Cobain conversing about art while at the Grand Canyon:

EXT. The Grand Canyon near a gift shop -- Day
Begins with a shot of Abe walking along canyon toward a figure in the distance. He approaches the figure (Kurt Cobain)

Kurt Cobain: Hey, Abe.

Abraham Lincoln: Oh, hello, Kurt. How are you?

Kurt: Ok. Except I can't find my lighter. You got a light?

Abe: No, I'm sorry but no.

Kurt: ... What about you? How've you been?

Abe: I've been alright. Although I can't seem to shake this headache i've got...

Kurt: ... (kurt smiles awkwardly)

Abe: What? Too soon?

Kurt: (kurt smiles more sincerely) Yeah... maybe.

Abe: I figured you'd really relate to that one.

Kurt: Ha ha, very funny, Abe.

Abe: So what brings you to the Canyon today?

Kurt: I've been working on a new painting and it's just not coming together the way I envisioned it. I like to come here to clear my head. Sometimes it helps me get back on track.

Abe: I could see that. There's definitely something spiritual about this place... Wait... painting? I thought you were a musician? Ya know... (abe mouths the opening riff to "Smells Like Teen Spirit")

Kurt: (kurt cringes a bit) Well I was but I gave that up a long time ago. I've always painted though, even before Nirvana. I would have rather been a famous artist than a musician but it didn't work out that way. Are you a fan of art?

Abe: I am. I've never painted or anything like that, but I do appreciate the arts. I don't really care for modern art though. That Duchamp guy really fucked things up if you ask me.

Kurt: (laughs) You'd probably hate my work then.

Abe: You never know. I'd love to see it sometime. I have written a poem or two in my day. Do you consider poetry to be art? Art is such a broad term, ya know?

Kurt: Yes it is. Yeah, poetry is art. Any kind of original creative expression is art in my opinion.

Abe: I think my favorite work would have to be "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. Have you read it?

Kurt: Yeah. I think I liked it but it's been a long time. Hey maybe you and I should collaborate on a piece. Ya know, your words on one of my paintings.

Abe: Perhaps we should... Well I better get going. The Mrs. is waiting at the gift shop for me and she's got a temper so...

Kurt: I hear ya.

Abe: Take care of yourself, Kurt.

Kurt: You too, Abe. Love the hat by the way.

Abe: (walking away) Everybody does.

I liked how it looked like a cartoon. It sucks that you had to play the audio manually it made me feel like i missed some info, but i think it was good overall

Good script but just a little choppy because of your sound.

Video: I thought it was interesting that you did drawings instead of pictures.

I like the art work. That was a cool change up. Some funny parts as well. I like how Abe sounded distent in the end.

Illustrations look great. When recording audio, hold the mic away from your direction of breathing. Typically, holding it to the side helps reduce the pop/click sound. Entertaining! Nice job.
